Best Mediterranean Food in Germantown

This is the best Mediterranean restaurant I've eaten at in recent years. Their gyro meat is the proper rotisserie shaved stuff which many restaurants don't bother with, and it makes a big difference in taste. Needless to say, their gyros are excellent, with very tasty tzatziki sauce rounding out the top-notch gyro meat. Tried the Mediterranean bowl at Petra Cafe today for the first time. Far exceeded expectations! Probably the best bowl I have tried in Memphis. The house dressing was incredible. Will definitely be back soon! 5/5 stars!

This is the best place to go in Memphis for a delicious Greek lunch! The zesty gyro Panini is delicious! The chicken paninis are also wonderful! I love their hummus dip, and the grape leaves are an amazing appetizer. The stuffed portobello is also wonderful. Lisa is so friendly and nice to see everyday! First time to Petra Cafe and very impressed with the freshness and quality of food. The Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Pita was excellent- subbed pesto for the honey mustard and highly recommend!! We just happened upon Petra one evening. What a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! We love the intimate atmosphere. We brought our own wine and enjoyed spanakopita and dolmas before dinner. I had the Greek Vegetarian Panini (delicious) and my husband enjoyed the Greek Salad with grilled chicken. We have been back several times and taken friends with us- we have never been disappointed.
